That Walk With Me...

Come, I’ll walk with you.
   Take your hand, feel…
     fingers knotted.
Take me to,
   that walk with you.

Places you want to go,
    show me.
      Things you want to know.
Share, then believe,
    I’ll take you there...

Eyes held,
    I see you…

Heart held…
    I feel you.

It transcends,
    overpowers,
      and Justifies...

Can you see me,
    feel me,
      the way I do you?

Come, walk with me.
    Take my hand, feel…
      fingers knotted.
Take you to,
    that walk with me…

This is lovely.. :)

Thank you Boshie...

How Did You Know?<br />
<br />
God sends us His love, by showing us how to love.<br />
A husband shows his love, and keeps her warm,<br />
even through life's bitter storms.<br />
That kind of love is hard to find.<br />
<br />
He has to have the gumption to put up with me.<br />
Life has lost it's fun, I had to learn to live with<br />
Tardive dyskinesia.<br />
You described my hand to perfection,<br />
how did you know?<br />
<br />
I told my doctor I believe in a miracle <br />
Jesus performed on a man's right hand.<br />
He asked me what it said.<br />
I told him to look up Luke 6 : 6.<br />
"Just tell me the story!"<br />
He was a hand surgeon,<br />
he wanted to know.<br />
No man can fix a withered up hand,<br />
How did Jesus know?<br />
<br />

That's so beautiful :)

Thank you shepherdess, I can understand why you went straight there. I would have loved to have met your father and mother. Love like theirs is rare, very rare...<br />
<br />
and I really liked "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"<br />
<br />
Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate you and I am glad you enjoyed them...

I'd like to go there too! Remember the old black and white movie, "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"? I don't know why your poem brings this to mind. <br />
<br />
I think your words had me reflecting on the love poems my father wrote to my mother when they were young and courting. He loved her in that same way their entire time together.<br />
<br />
Then my mind went to The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Timeless love and words all together in one special place forever.<br />
<br />
Words like this never fade away!

Thank you Mystik, I am looking to move on... not standing still anymore... Thank you for everything you say and feel...
