so what's at issue,if you are used to taking in people why not someone that really needs a chance in life,to be loved and shown that he is worth something.i say take him in.

You both were placed in each others path for a reason Red, I really do believe that.

We were all just discussing this, I am going to contact his mom ...maybe she will find some peace and heal knowing he is safe with his family . You know light maybe I will find what has been missing too, kids have always been my sanctuary .

I think you are the angel this little boy needs.. The road ahead may be tough depending on how much abuse he has suffered but you got this Red, it's a no brainer.

Ironically mystic it was someone who came into my life and was my angel that I reach out to others ...I never will forget the love they gave me .

I am quite young myself but maybe some sort of parental role might fall on my shoulders. I at least used to look forward to it, not so much anymore though.

I am thinking so and will talk more to the family just to have the big picture of what I am facing with him.

The father pushed the mom off the edge ,she has been struggling with depression and was told he had full custody which is a lie . She is a cool young woman , I knew her from when I lived their and loving mom. Sometimes life just breaks people and its sad, she knows me and that noone gets near the kids I shelter. I wonder if that is what I keep feeling , kids have been my life and when I stopped taking them in a five years ago it was a loss...its what I am meant to do.
