My days were filled with friends, unplanned trips to wherever, parties, and getting high. I was content with life, but didn't have anything to make me happy. Quick, thoughtless decisions led me to getting pregnant with my (future ex-) husband and giving birth to my favorite person in the world. I love watching her learn new things and trying to translate her gibberish, it breaks my heart to see her cry, but it's quickly warmed and mended when the tears slow down as I hold her and speak to her with comforting words. If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would be a loving mother, I would have laughed at you and took another hit. I could boast any of my personality traits, but the thing I'm most proud of being is my daughter's mother.

Motherhood tends to change people for the better. I for one, am glad that it changed you. I am certain you are loving, compassionate and will be the best mother ever.
