Too Creative

The thing with where I grew up is, it is a highly un-imaginative place. Not only are creative people feared but they are despised as one might despise a person for being Gay, maybe because they associated the two as the same thing in their narrow country minds.

I do not fear or hate gay people - my step-brother is gay and he is one of the greatest people I have known, a very open and smart man. But being accused of something you are not is never fun. I have thought about my sexuality at length, and have a hard time finding myself attracted to other men, call me crazy but it just doesn't happen. It would have been a load off my shoulders had I been Gay, since at least their insults would be...correct, I mean not that insulting anyone is ever correct. Hell, the psychological damage from all that cost lots of money to repair.

I am not gay, just extensively creative. But I got bullied for both.

I hope you're aware that there is something called asexuality. It means you don't get hard to either gender. You're not gay, but you also arn't turned on sexually when a girl tries to seduce you. Also, don't give a rat what people think about you, that lowers your self-esteem. And that is the defining line between being a human and being a waste of oxygen to people around and yourself.

Maybe that's why at 40 I still haven't had a serious relationship. I was bullied for 12 years in school, physically and mentally.
