It's Something To Be Proud Of!

I started this group to maybe unite some raging nerds who are rightfully proud of all the effort they've put into schoolwork. Not to get started on the procrastination that comes with such genius... ;) I'm sure many others have also been in the situation in which they have an essay due the next day but they stay up until 2:30am freaking out on Facebook with all the other honors kids. We were terrible kids- we read Sparknotes only, traded answers on homework, and were masters- MASTERS- of bullshitting. It was certainly quite the community in my high school- we all had each other's numbers, and suffered under the most horrible teacher you can imagine, but at least we were together. The year we had the above-mentioned teacher, we had to read Othello over Christmas break, and answer this ENTIRE packet of questions that had parts a-h. A group of us went to my best friend's house, and we got the audio recording of the play and paused it every few minutes to fill our questions in. It took us a total of 12 hours over the course of 2 days. I believe experiences like this set honors kids apart since no rational being would put themselves through the amount of stress we went through.
