Product Of The 80's

I loved the 80's- the music especially. The Smiths, The Cure, Billy Joel, The Indigo Girls, etc. And I liked a lot of the fashion, too- mostly stuff like the blazers, the neon-framed sunglasses, jelly shoes, and leggings. It was a good decade to be a kid in.

^ Agreed!

You have real gems there. Don't ever record over them. That stuff is priceless. Excellent for parties.

^ Ha! I used to do that. I have hours of MTV video footage from the late 80s-early 90s. lol

What I miss is the bands, on a tight budget, making videos. Once Michael Jackson spent two million on one, the writing was on the wall, but most of us didn't notice. My most clever friends were the ones who put the VCR on long play and recorded hours of mTV.

^ I believe so. I could be mistaken, though, so don't quote me on that.

Fraggle Rock! Excellent. That was a great show.
Did Billy Joel do Allentown and Goodbye Saigon in the 80s?

^ Billy Joel debuted in the 70s and bled over into the 80's. I grew up listening to him.

It was a good decade to come of age in, too. I don't miss the shoulder pads, though.
(I thought Billy Joel was 70s.)

Yes! Yes! and Yes!
