Well - Kinda

I was actually born in Highland Park at the tail-end of the '60s. But I was born at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital, so it's the hospital that's lying and not me. I had to go there once to get my birth certificate (I later found this wasn't the place to go) and I found this immaculate gleaming bronze sign standing majestically in front of a large pile of rubble. Downright post-apocalyptic.

I was also born at Detroit Osteopathic in 1965!! I got my birth certificate at Herman Keifer a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure the building is still there, but it was bought by the Salvation Army and isn't a hospital anymore.

I was born at Booth Memorial downtown. I think that they tore it down only recently.
