I Was Born In February
A bitter cold wind howled through the streets as a blizzard was dumping snow in drifts ever so high in a small town in the frozen land of the northeast. Dad got Mother to the hospital safely and on time. For the old doctor that was not the case. He was far out in the country. He almost missed my birth. He barely had time to wash up when out I popped all blue and exercising my lungs on that fine February morning.
Had enough of snow and ice...now I live where it's much warmer and plenty of sunshine.
