I Was Discriminated Against
I was brought up in London just after the war. My parents generation were unbelievably rascist. My father once said to me that he faught in the war to keep these ******* out!
My reply was " Dad are you sure you were fighting on the right side ?"
My mother was even worse she was born in Rawalpindi which is in Pakistan ( it was India at the time ) and she hated all non whites and Asians in particular.
Now both my parents are white but I have a dark complexion and spend a lot of the summer in southern Europe after which my skin is darker than many of the asiaan colleagues I work for.
I have worked for many years at night as a taxi driver in Leeds. In the winter I am subjected to abuse from the asians calling me a white bastard or worse. When I come back from Europe the whites shout at me " Paki bastard ". It shows how stupid the lot of them are.
The best incident happened when I dropped this male customer off at an all night petrol station. He was white and in his early twenties, I had just got back from Europe and was very dark. He got into the taxi and started swearing about the f ing Pakis. I turned round and said to him " Do you mind my mother was born in Pakistan " He immediately thought I was half pakistani and squirmed and apologised.
Ha ha just as well he had never met my mother
