Nearly Tripped At The Bowling Alley....becuase Of My Lovely Sister.

It was on a Friday night I believe. Me, my sister, and a couple of classmates went to have fun and to also celebrate a classmate moving to New Orleans as he was very excited.

As the night grew older, we became lazy in the game. My sister played more than I did along with a classmate's two children. My sister became so careless in the game. So, careless that when she extended her arm back getting ready to throw the ball, the ball flew out of her hands and nearly hit someone else in another lane. She went up again and threw a ball when the gates were still trying to align the pins. Well, the ball got stuck. My sister sat down beside me as I worried that the manager or someone was going to tell us to remove the ball or ask us to leave for mistreating the system. My sister claimed that she just wanted to see what would happen if she did what she did. What did she expect to happen? I mean, seriously!? It just bothered me that out of all the lanes, ours was stuck with a ball way at the other end near the pins. Plus we were sharing balls with another team.

I got up as my sister tried telling me that it was okay and nothing to fret over. I had attempted to just walk the lane and get it myself becuase I could have sworn I saw someone else do it to. Well, to my horror, my feet nearly flipped over my head once my feet touched the floor. I did not slip, but I was greatly embarrassed becuase the night was FULL of customers and it was very crowded. Had I fell, I would have been surrounded by wide-eyed laughing people. To this day I do not understand why I did not fall becuase I should have becuase the floor was VERY slippery. I can only assume an angel was behind me to keep me up and saved me from the most embarrassing night of my life. I just laughed it off going back to the table, but I wanted to melt into a puddle of water and slip through the drainage system, while popping my sister over the head with a brick.

The thing is that that was my first time ever bowling. So I never knew how slippery the floor was supposed to be.
