I Have Been In A Car Accident...

My best friend and I were driving back home, from a party. He was driving, and we were about an hour away from my house, and we were sitting at a red light. We were talking and next thing I knew I was in the hospital. I was hit by a Drunk driver, as was my best friend. He didn't make it. It was a terrible night, that has followed me around for the res of my life. I was banged up really bad. On top of that I lost my daughter in the car accident, my life was forever changed that night. It will always follow me, its so hard to deal with sometimes. Drunk drives should be ashamed. I hate them, they take away so mmuch, just because they are selfish enough to get behind the wheel an thinking that they are okay......when really they aren't. I am glad that the guy who hit us, died. He took away so much from me. He got what he deserved!

The emotional pain that all of this has had on you must be massive, let alone the physical pain.
You don't have to carry this emotional/psychological pain around with you for the rest of your life and you shouldn't. I see the long term affects this type of trauma has on people everyday and the impact that it has on their life. I deal with PTSD on a regular basis. I see how it affects their life. It's my job to get rid of it so that they can have their life back. If you have stuff that won't go away, talk to me. I get rid of that stuff.
