I Wrote This Part 13?

I think that's all for today. This one is just an old song. Here goes

Seeing is believing

what  man always said

own thoughts started preaching

reaching out his hand

he thought he was a helper

he thought he’d see the day

when all will fall  that’s evil

and all good would attain

all the mirror’s knowledge

 from the other worlds

he’d find himself believing

he only wished he could

and now they’re out for vengeance

give us back our time

his promises are shredded

his clock has turned the 9

A sailor once told me, your treasure is your heaven

don’t let them tell you otherwise

keeping it focused, steady as you go

fly if you find yourself stuck in a line

VS2

the shattered glass is scattered

all across his desk

the air is thick and sour

so hard to clean this mess

the thought of now rebuilding

what he thought was a test

unexpected consequences

lay his mind to rest

the wheel just keeps on turning

there’s nowhere to escape

and in his aching madness

he gets back into shape

but they’re already out for vengeance

give them back their time

your promises have shredded

our clocks have turned the 9

A sailor once told me, your treasure is your heaven

don’t let them tell you otherwise

keeping it focused, steady as you go

fly if you find yourself stuck in a line

I'm starting to think that if i called what i wrote a poem instead of a song, it would be finished! And i wouldn't be a procrastinator!

A song is a poem that sings! Interesting lines herein. I can almost hear a cadence and a melody in this one. Godd job!
