Teaching Materials

So I was looking for some new ideas for my second graders on the web the other day… A lot of the materials we have at our school are getting outdated, and I was just looking for something fresh. Anyways, I found this website called http://www.biceveryday.com/. Believe it or not, it is actually a great resource for teachers, students, and all educators alike! At biceverday.com you can find great tools and applications for the classroom. The site offers tons of fun and educational supplemental learning materials that are not only innovative and extremely helpful to stimulate the next generation of future professionals. You can even learn about some of the latest BIC offers, promotions, and products for educators by signing up to be a part of the BIC Ó Teach Our Kids Club! In case anyone was interested…

You could also try www.homeschoolfreebie.wholesomechildhood.com it is a website that has new learning material every day. The only catch is that it is only up for one day, and if you miss it, then you can't get it again, so you have to look at it ever day. But, you can sign up for an email once a week which tells you what will be coming up for the week ahead. I was trying to find stuff to do with my 2 year old, this week was science, had how to make your own goop one day, then how to make extreme bubbles the next day. Today is mouth experiments. But, every week is different. Last week was all about past presidents and the underground railroad. Hope this gives you some new ideas. I am going to try the website you recommended.
