I Was Manipulated By My Ex
I fell in love with a man that never existed. My ex claims that he just listened to me and made himself into whatever interested me. I was in love with my idea of love and my ex never wanted to see me go (so he says) so he hid his true self from me to keep me around. But when the real him finally exposed himself, it was like looking at a monster right in the face. He was aggressive and mean and angry beyond belief. What made it worse is that he told me I was stupid and easily manipulated. He used me throughout our entire relationship to get me to do whatever he wanted. His final words to me were "your idea of a man will never be real".
