My mom and I went to the pharmacy to get my strep meds we were there 20 min and I was miserable so I said let's get the F outa here my mom dropped my pants to my ankles and panties right below bum right there took out her brush put her leg up on a chair swung me over her knee went to down on my bum right there about 50 swats with the brush some guy came up to her and congratulated her on being a parent then she made me stand in the corner until the meds were ready!

18---that's pretty uncommon. I've known plenty of girls who were spanked throughout the time they were in high school, but once the went to college or to work, the spankings (from parents) ended, with rare exceptions.

Spanking in public is a dangerous proposition now. But like that gentlemen, if I had heard what you said and saw how your mom responded, I would have congratulated her as well.
I have spanked my children in public as well, although I've almost always taken them to a private location like in a ladies restroom, or if at church, one of the downstairs classrooms.
The only time I've ever spanked out in the open in public is when we've had to pull into a rest area and I've spanked at a picnic table. Although that's only happened a few times and I've only done so when being isolated far away from anyone else.

I think that this is horrible and should not have happened to you. I agree with everybody else that you were out of line, but your mothernshould not have exposed and humiliated you in that way - you are not a child anymore so she should punish you in a way befitting an adult. I would have been horrified by this, especially by the comment from the random man, who may have been sadistic or perverted. At the least, your mother could have just left you at the store or spanked you at home . I feel for you.

can understand how embarrassed you were with this but you did im sorry to say deserve this. And hopefully it will prevent you from acting in such an insolent manner in the future. A dear friend of mine has 1 or 2 times had cause to spank her girls in public and 1 time in front of me. I dont know if it was her face or bottom which was redder as her mother bared her and bent her over but I doubt she will be using uncooth language again like that for a long while!

  Well, regardless of her age bravo to her mom for doing the right thing. More parents need to not be afraid to discipline their kids when they act out. If it is in public so be it.
