I Was Told Im Gonna Go To Hell

It doesn't mean your going there. Many nuns throughout my life told me I was going. I was a restless catholic school kid. Caught kissing girls, riding the elevator in the convent, blasting music in the library, kissing girls, fighting, laughing in church, kissing girls in church...and that was just grammar school.

High School I graduated to pranks, imitations and smoking in class once lol.

But these clergy and teachers don't have a say whether I'm going to hell or not. My actionshere after judge me and I gotta tell ya, it'll be too close to call lol...if there even is a hell lol.

    O crumbs! I am so glad I did not go through the Catholic education system of the last 50 years. I was caught kissing in the corridor too. But that's because I am married to one of the teachers.

    ok so i agree that my judgement will be after im dead and no priest can tell me to say five hail marys and all will be good. that is part of the reason i no longer go to catholic church...i believe but in my own way...that said, my friends and i have come up with the following...We know we are going to be on the express elevator to everafter below..however, we know when we get there they are going to scream shut the doors and send us back to the everafter above..lol we all have certain things to bring: drinks, cups, food, etc..your more than welcome to join us on our elevator if you would like..lol

    Another well adjusted adult that suffered through the "restless Catholic school" phase and triumphed! Hell yeah! I was always "me" no matter what connotations that held, and those nuns despised that fearless, nonconformist quality in me! Never gave me cause for pause, though. I refuse to be someone or something I'm not to please others, for then I am doing myself an injustice.

    I've never understood why the fear of hell is supposed to make people behave. Then add the whole "God will forgive all your sins if you just repent" thing...meh. It makes no sense.
