I agree, so long as one half doesn't start to take the mik, it works out well. :o)

I have never owned a dish washer and have no desire to get one. All of us were born with dish washers at the end of each arm. We always thought the 50/50 rule was too easy to get out of, so we have used the 70/30 rule, which works better for us. You should know that sometimes you just are not into it, same holds true for your spouse. The golden rule takes over here and need I say more..

It is true, there is no rough residue or any mystery chips but should household chores always be 50/50? What if the wife stays home and the husband goes out to work? Should the chores still be split? I do most of the house hold chores my hubby just helps out after dinner because he is at work all day and I am at home with the kids.

That is wonderful that you do the dishes together. Household chores should be 50/50 anyway. You know there won't be any rough residue or mystery chips on you dishes.

That's nice. We just had dinner, and I got the dishes washed while my wife fed the dogs -- took all of maybe 5 minutes, if that much.
