Yes, I do waste too much time on the internet-- in a way. I have no life, so I really don't have much else to do besides the internet. But there are some things I could do, like clean the house, but it always seems so daunting. Especially since the mess is not only mine, yet I must be the one to clean it up. I also use the internet as a way of avoiding things I need to do but am too afraid to do, like talk to my landlord, call new landlords, & stuff like that. But I'm too afraid to do those things during regular times, & when my mom is away as she is now, it makes all those things much harder to do. But I do have a class starting on June 7th. It's an internet class, so that won't get me off the internet, but at least I will be doing something more useful with it.

I spend a lot of time on the internet too! I now use that time a little more productive though.
I make a pretty good side income from Facebook and Blogs.
It is fun for me and right now I am teaching my son how to do the same. He is 13 years old and is in the same room as his old man instead of being cooped up in his room all day playing video games. He still plays games but not as much.

i completely understand the whole avoidance thing. i can spend hours on the internet, i lose track of time then i panic at the last minute about overdue assignments etc..
