Especially When I'm Feeling Down

I use it to "escape" from reality... procrastinate from doing the things I should be.    Sure, sometimes I'm on the internet doing important things like paying bills, keeping in touch with my family, balancing my bank account, etc - but a good majority of the time I'm just staring at the screen.  Sometimes I stare at the same sites or forums for HOURS waiting for something new to happen.   Or clicking away at some stupid game to gain points with no real purpose except to not have to deal with anything.

I feel like something is missing from my life, but I don't know exactly what or how to fix it.  So I waste my life staring at things like EP just letting time pass.

I hate it.  I hate spending so much time online.  Even when I do, I think to myself that I should be cleaning, taking a walk, calling a friend to have lunch, doing SOMETHING other than just sitting here.

But I don't.  Instead I type stories like this one.....

Everybody tends to do something pointless when they're down. At least your not harming yourself in some way. I tend to just sleep while listening to music (I'm not even scoring points!). I'm not sure how you cheer up from being down, because I'm self indulgent and in a sick, twisted way, once I'm down, I don't really wanna cheer up... You just don't wanna fall into that trap... you should text friends or family or somethin. They always set me right.<br />

Hope this helped, and wasn't just boring...
