Those 90 Page Scripts Just Rocked My World

The writing was just fabulous. Witty, high speed, lots of obscure references, too. And the characters came across as honest and sincere. GG was a wonderful show about family and friends and seriously raised the bar for quality.

I've never seen an episode of this show. I'm thinking maybe I should Netflix it, though.

I really didn't have a problem with season 7. I thought the new writers struggled a bit with the high speed dialog and lacked a cohesive understanding of the characters, but, in the end, were able to finish their task in a serviceable manner.....a polite way of saying the show could have been so much better but could have been so much worse, too.

BOSTON LEGAL was like the cream of the crop when it comes to network television.

I'm not a huge fan of TV either, but a few shows are done exceptionally well. Some of my favorites are:

GILMORE GIRLS
WEST WING
DEXTER
SOPRANOS
SIX FEET UNDER
DEAD LIKE ME
GENERATION KILL

There are very few TV series I own, but I bought GILMORE GIRLS and have worked my way through all seven season at least 3 times so far. Very enjoyable.

I can just imagine how the writers struggled to follow in the footsteps of Amy Sherman when she left the show. She's really a very impressive writer.

i know! i love how the conversations always go on detours and wind up somewhere totally different from where they started. the people of stars hollow have very fast tongues! :)
