About Time I Wrote Something....

I've been a member of this group for long, but it's not until now that I've decided to write a story on it. Better late than never! =p

I am SO in-love with Mr. Bean! Whoo-hoo! I first ran into his show when I was a teen, late on the weekends, on PBS. I saw one episode, of him in church and his antics there, and laughed until my stomach hurt! I had to share this with my sister. :-D

So, the next weekend, I was bossy and insisted she stay awake to see him! It was the episode, where he went on vacation and stayed at an hotel. Of him trying to get the tv in his room to work and discovered that it would only work when he was nude. We laughed like crazy, as he sat in a cardboard box, with no clothes on, all to watch tv... while his clothes were dressed on a chair, as if he was sitting on the other side of the room! XD

So, then... late weekends were "Mr. Bean Night" for us. We laughed and laughed at each episode... not really disturbed by the few episodes of his pale naked butt, as he often got into scrapes where he lost his pants! =p

After a while, they stopped playing the episode on tv, so I bought the dvd set of the show. And then we introduced him to my little brother and nephew. At first, they thought it would be stupid, with a title of "Mr. Bean". But after the first episode, my brother and nephew were hooked! Now... whenever my nephew comes to visit, he asks, "Can we watch Mr. Bean?" And we do!

Okay... my favorite episode is him in the airplane, seated next to a little boy who wasn't feel so well about the flight, as they were hitting turbulence. Mr. Bean's attempts to cheer up the boy, with his stuffed animal Teddy, was hilarious! But the most laugh that I always have of this episode, is when the boy pukes in a sick-bag... meanwhile, Mr. Bean isn't paying attention and looking for more props to entertain. So, he grabs the sick bag, blows it up like a balloon, and with a huge grin gets ready to pop it! The screen goes to black and you can hear a POP! EWWWW! XD

I too love Mr. Bean! Thank you for sharing your story. These past 6 months I haven't laughed, been very sad and have had a lot of things going on. About 2 weeks ago, I saw a movie Starring Mr. Bean and laughed more than I have laughed in years. My stomach ached the next day. He is hilarious - the facial ex<x>pressions really crack me up.<br />
<br />
There is nothing like laughter - I believe it heals!<br />

Thanks again for your story.
