I must say that I have had the pleasure for the second time in my life to see a married couple celebrate 50 years of being married. That does not happen every day not even once in a lifetime for some people. Twenty years ago I watched my Grandma and Grandpa renew their wedding vows while celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary, now they have both passed on but it was quite a memorable experience. Today I witnessed another couple remarry and renew their wedding vows after 50 years of marriage. It was such a lovely ceremony, and the bride wore the very same dress that she wore 50 years ago (having it resized to fit her today)...she kept it all these years. They walked down the aisle as they did back then and cut the cake together as they did when they were young, and had their first dance as a married couple for the very first time again after all these years that they have shared thier lives together. I am glad that I have gotten to witness such an event.

A special event, especially given today's divorce rates. To have attended more than one is indeed a rare treat. It must have been amazing for them to relive their start together all these many years later.
