Best Day Ever.

When we were 8, my best friend and I planned to do this-that was the year when Phantom Menace was coming out, and we made a vow that once all of them were on DVD we would watch them all in one day-at 16, we fulfilled this vow, and this has led to a wonderful tradition of yearly movie marathons. But Star Wars was definitely the most epic one of all.

The funniest part was that she had just gotten the remastered versions of the original trilogy, but hadn't watched them yet. We were half asleep towards the end of Return of the Jedi and I made some comment that it would be amusing (not necessarily right or good, but amusing) if they put Hayden Christiansen in at the end. When we found out they had, we had to rewind it to make sure we weren't hallucinating because we were so tired. So, even though neither of us are sure how we feel about the changed ending (no real reason for it, but continuity is appreciated somewhat)-we always smile when we think about it because it reminds us of that moment.
