They Are No Threat To Us - For Military Man

The wind whips through my hair planting it against my dampened face, molding to it like a second skin.  I tilt my face up toward the grouchy sky, seeking it to take me away.  I stick out my tongue, catching the first rain drops as they began to fall upon the thirsty earth. I close my eyes and breathe in deeply, yet slowly, letting my skin delight in the wetness.  Every cell of my body is alive in this moment. I dance in the rain feeling the electricity as the lightning surges through my cloudy soul. The thunder complains angrily overhead threatening me with his mighty voice. I refuse to back down because it is in these few moments that I feel most alive, joyously alive, and I have no fear. I am simply locked in a spell, mesmerized by the beauty and power that is me since you.

I can feel the storm; it is just behind us now and for the first time I realize I am no longer alone in my dance. You are there with me, locked in the same spell that has become us.  I feel the power that is you.   It brings me peace with myself and with you, with us, and with the world that revolves around us, knowing it will never come between us.

That is a nice song. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.

Love... "Only this me... and only since you... "<br />
<br />
I found the words... the words are about love... faithful... devout... love.<br />
<br />
And I think maybe, you may care for this song?<br />
It is somewhat like your post... <br />
<br />
Ojos Así<br />
Ayer conocí un cielo sin sol<br />
y un hombre sin suelo<br />
Un santo en prisión<br />
y una canción triste sin dueño<br />
Y conocí tus ojos negros<br />
Y ahora sí que no<br />
puedo vivir sin ellos yo <br />
<br />

Awww that is unusual ...isn't it?

Awww thank you blushark. Your words mean so much to me. Thank you for being so supportive of me. I am not the most prolific writer but I do write from my heart and soul. So when you read my posts you read that, my heart and soul, and nothing else. ((hugs))
