Here is where I have to make my confession, one which may turn any guru-ing of my profile for my previously enlightened comments on it's head.

I AM better off now than 10 years ago, because when 9/11 happened the first thing I did was use the opportunities it gave me to better myself without concern for the effect on others.

~ Got rid of someone I didn’t want by convincing him to join the Army.

~ Used the distraction to move to another state and start a new life.

~ Used job vacancies created to get myself easily hired above my peers.

~ Used the deployments as an opportunity jump in bed with other peoples spouses.

~ Used the effect of deployments on the civilian market to leverage higher paying positions for myself.

~ Use fluctuating dollar values to invest my way above the interest holdings of my peers.

~ And when the market crashed last year, used my cash reserves to snap up real-estate like candy from a confused baby.

    Yes, I am better off...

    …. BUT THE WORLD ISN’T.

Our freedoms are being trampled on, the system is taking control of how we think and live...

And right now the medical industry gone mad...is falsely diagnosing a close and dear friend of having a mental illness he clearly does not suffer from because he chooses to make better decisions that a typical person and in doing so has become a "statistical outlier"...what ever the hell that dumb doctor meant when he told him that.

The Zeitgeist IS taking over, and now that I've ridden my way to the top of Bill Hicks ride....I'm worried about what's going to happen soon....when my car of the roller coster rolls over the hump.

Sept. 11th was my daughter's 4th birthday...i took the day off so that i could go see her when my ex called and said i could. I sat there with my cold coffee watching in horror at what was happening...knowing that our personal freedoms were about to be trampled on....anyone? anyone disagree? Are you better off than you were 10 years ago? We are all guilty for allowing our conceited, arrogant and greedy politicians to run our country into the ground.
