I wear kilts much of the time. Some many years ago I made my first kilt and then started to wear it. Now with groups like XMarks the Scot, etc. men wearing kilts has become more accepted. I wear pants and kilts, but prefer kilts since they are comfortable and women love men in kilts. A bought a wonderful shirt that says: "Pants are for guys with ugly legs".

 | Posted May 25th, 2009 at 12:50AM I come from a Scottish background, and when I was a kid the whole extended family would go to my grandparents' house for a barbecue. We all wore kilts with our clan tartan, sporons and white T-shirts with bold lettering that read "I'M A (SURNAME)" Us kids would go to the local shop for icecream and everyone stared. Some made derogatory comments but we all just laughed. I wish I had kilt now but that can wait until I have money to spare. I say, "Good on ya!" Have you ever heard the song "Donald Where's Your Trousers" by Andy Stewart? It's a great song and a good laugh... |
