I was a guest at Windsor Castle for the Order of the Garter Parade last week, what a wonderful privilege on such a great occasion. I was the only man wearing a kilt, it was the black Argyll jacket & waistcoat version with matching tartan tie. Needless to say the number compliments I received were amazing, not one derogatory remark was heard all day!

A great honour! Glad to hear the kilt was so well received.

Having just come from a wedding in London, I can confirm that the English do appreciate and respect it when we wear our national dress.

Yes, extremely well accepted "down south" with many requests for photographs.
