Just type in ABDL to google & you'll be surprised how much is out there, I love wearing a diaper especially with plastic pants over the top, the crinklier the better, the dare is to wear them in public & see if anyone notices the crinkle when you move, even if they do they won't have a clue as to what caused it unless they are AB aware too! I have peed my diaper whilst stood in the queue in Asda next to people, a lovely feeling i can tell you, no one had any idea of what I was doing, that lovely warm wet feeling is even more delicious in risky circumstances, keep on wearing & wet yourself at every opportunity, no one will even guess waht you're doing, just enjoy & to hel with those who just don't understand!

A good compromise may be to use a disposable brief during the day (and suggestions made here are excellent - Tena, Attends, Lille Maxi, Abriform-X are all top rate products), and use a terry at night. You can save a fortune this way, as at home you can wash terries and pants, and after the initial outlay it costs next to nothing for 10+ years. Whether you use a prefold, fitted nappy or flat square that you fold to suit, the choice is personal preference. Experimenting can be great fun, but they all need plastic waterproof pants though! KosiKare do adult-size squares, Arizona Healthcare do everything, 'Minki' nappies also do an adult sized fitted nappy in the same pattern as their baby nappies. Haian plastic pants can be had via ebay and are also good in various colours.

You may have gathered that I am a terry nappy fan, every night and day when at home!! Over the last 10 years, by not using disposables I must have saved £2000 or more! :) Have fun experimenting, and if I can help further, please let me know! :)

Arizona make great fitted terry nappies. They can be as thick as you like because there's an added internal pocket for inserts. I use one or two baby terry nappies depending on how long I reckon to go between changes. The good thing about these nappies is that they aren't as bulky at the sides as ordinary terry nappies and if you positiion the inserts carefully there isn't too bad a bulge at the front or back either. I reckon to get through a day's work in these.

I had a look at Helovestobewet's suggestion - the URL isn't quite right but is: http://www.wheeliegoodmobility.co.uk/

There's plenty of good adult disposable nappies as well, Tena Slips for example, available from many places online. They're discreet enough and hold a lot. You can walk around town confident that your underwear will provide reliable toilet facilities!

There's lots of terry towelling options and adult sized plastic pants out there as well, try Arizona Care for example.

I have never got on with disposables. I had to wear them during my teens following a referal to the continence nurse after a visit to the doctors to see why I still wet the bed most nights at 15. I know they have improoved since then but I justprefer terry towelling nappies or pul ups and plastic pants. To me they still feel comfortable even when soaking wet.

Just type incontinence wear in to Google and you will be amazed how much choice there is. It is trial and error until you get what suits you. For me the best protection is proper terry towelling nappies and plastic pants. Good quality pants don't leak unless your nappy is very wet. I have only worn a nappy in public a few times and am always very concious of it but I am getting braver. I live alone and am exactly the same as you at night. If the bed gets wet then so be it but I couldn't stand the embarasment of wet pants in public.

Thanks for that, will give it a try. Im verry adverse to having wet pants in public but must confess to a little excitement at the prospect of terry nappys worn in public, will be thinking about every glance i get, wondering if they have noticed the bulk of my nappy! Scary and exciting at the same time i would think. Joanne. XX.

I don't know if anyone has ever noticed when I've worn one but I guess if they did they would be too embarrased to coment. It is scary but as you say exciting.

For some really good plastic pants you could look at the ones on www.weeliegoodmobility.co.uk. Not cheap but they are good I bought some a while ago and they don't leak unless you are verry very wet. They can be used with pads or as I do over thick terry nappies. Also check out Arizona Health Care their range of pants are really good. For terry nappies and pull ups look at drydayz.com They do some big nappies and terry pull ups. They do plastic pants but the ones I got from them soon went brittle.
