Twice In FebruaryDay before yesterday, I went for an afternoon walk down the county road, but I wear a tank top and shorts when I do this. But it was so nice, when I got back to our property, I slipped off the clothes and spent another hour walking in the woods. For those of you who remember my earlier post about this, don't worry.......I didn't get eaten by a bear or a mountain lion.......actually didn't even see any sign this time.
I walked the property line, but no neighbors out. I took the time to just enjoy, watching the babbling brooks, wondering how the forest is going to look when the trees start leafing out again, basking in the warm breezes on my skin....
Not as interesting as some of my walks, but I'm getting so accustomed to them, I hate to end them. Still thinking about walking the county road at night, but it seems awfully dangerous.....even if my husband will go with me. Coyotes scare me more than anything these days. My husband shot a feral hog a couple years ago, and the next day it was completely gone!
The worst part is that I couldn't find the spot where I'd laid my clothes down and it took me another half hour to find them!
