The Unforgettable Fire

Hmm...more nostalgia.  :)  I went to see U2 during their US leg supporting "The Unforgettable Fire".  I went with a group from my high school.  We had great seats at an indoor venue.  The crowd was absolutely insane.  If you want to see what it was like, there is probably a lot of footage out there from that period.   My favorite album by them is "War".  I hate to say it because it always sounds pretentious, but I did like them way before they became legends.  I admire the work that Bono does now, despite the glitz, and I've never really considered them a religious band, although I realize that many people do.

That's amazing tate, I would have loved to go to one of theirs. "War" and "Joshua Tree" are equally amazing. I think Joshua Tree is where people get the religious rock thing. But I agree it's not like listening to a christain rock group, so I'd call them spiritual too.
