We Had a Cabin.....

in Clear Lake, CA. from the time I was 9-24. We were there almost every weekend and all the time in the summer. It was a one room cabin with a big table, a wardrobe, a bed and a couch. And a fireplace.  During the winter we would go fishing, walking around the town and playing Lego's and Barbies in the cabin. During the summer, it would be *80 by 8am and we would go swimming in the lake, fishing, kyacking, horse back riding and to garage sales. I loved that cabin. I loved sitting and sleeping in front of the fireplace in the winter, my black lab sleeping next to me. I usually had a friend with me and we never ran out of things to do. I miss the place so much. I would love to be able to buy it back from the person my mom sold it to, but she loves it as much as I do. Such good memories. I'm grateful for the years that I spent there. I learned a lot, played a lot and grew a lot. Namaste

It was my dream as a child to live in a cabin in the woods. I still think about it a lot. If I were ever single again, I might. I love the solitude and having nothing but wildlife and fresh air around me.

I think so too. We don't go there anymore, but maybe we will soon. I would love to go camping there again. :)

Clear Lake is beautiful...
