You said it all. That is my reason too.I could see HIS HANDS in most of the happenings except those wrong choices and external intervention that i allow them to happen. We just have to trust him.

I believe we are here to experience the opposite in all things to appreciate them. This can be only done with real experience, ie love/hate/joy/pain/loss/grief/ hot cold/health/sickness/ abundance / poverty/ etc.

Just as Jesus came to earth and took a flesh and blood body so he could *experience* all, ( which He certainly did in the Garden of Gethsemane , before his death.

We are given free will to make choices and experience these consequences. Not all choices are ours, I know, we are sometimes left with the consequences of choices made by others, but here is where His mercy and compassion is available to us, and the negative consequences will be felt by those who unrighteously inflict pain upon another.

Just as our love for our fellowman, and the help we give another on this journey, will also be remembered by the Lord.

Just for discussion ..wouldn't it be a surprise to learn, at the end of our days, there was no purpose? Like life, birth and living was just an open page to do, anything possible...whatever we chose was fine. There were no lessons to learn and no judgements necessary? Odd huh..
