The Wii Fit Is Both Fun And Humbling

I just did my first Wii Fit work out.  I think it is important to be able to laugh at yourself if you use it, because you will completely suck at some things.  I had a pot crash down on my head regularly during the king fu exercise because I wasn't doing it right. I tried the skateboarding exercise and ran into the fence quite a few times.  I found out I have a lot more work to do on balance than I expected as someone who does yoga, but it was on exercises that I had never done that I was kind flopping all over the place.

I was in the normal weight range, but could lose about 7 pounds to be at a more ideal BMI, which is better than I expected.  I've been avoiding the scale and thought I had gained weight, when I had actually lost 4 pounds.  I double-checked it on my regular scale, and it was true. Hurrah!

However based on my weight and a single balance exercise, the damn thing put my Wii age at 64!   I think I might have said "Hmmmph!" out loud.  Will it go backwards as my balance gets better?

I also have a sprained wrist right now, which is throwing off my balance. It's like I have a dead animal at the end of my left arm. This actually makes it good timing for my starting the Wii Fit. I usually do a lot of yoga. But I can't do push ups or downward dog or anything like that for awhile. But the Wii Fit gives me plenty to do that doesn't involve my wrist. I was surprised by how difficult some of the lower body exercises were.<br />

It's also really great for balancing the two sides of the body. I think I'm going to like it a lot!

LMAO, I was younger but I am also big on stretching. LOL I busted my a$$ several times though until I got used to it.
