The Wii Fit Is Both Fun And Humbling
I just did my first Wii Fit work out . I think it is important to be able to laugh at yourself if you use it, because you will completely suck at some things. I had a pot crash down on my head regularly during the king fu exercise because I wasn't doing it right. I tried the skateboarding exercise and ran into the fence quite a few times. I found out I have a lot more work to do on balance than I expected as someone who does yoga, but it was on exercises that I had never done that I was kind flopping all over the place.
I was in the normal weight range, but could lose about 7 pounds to be at a more ideal BMI, which is better than I expected. I've been avoiding the scale and thought I had gained weight, when I had actually lost 4 pounds. I double-checked it on my regular scale, and it was true. Hurrah!
However based on my weight and a single balance exercise, the damn thing put my Wii age at 64! I think I might have said "Hmmmph!" out loud. Will it go backwards as my balance gets better?
