I Will Accept Myself Just the Way I Am
I guess that if I can say anything about myself with certainty, it is that I am living on borrowed time.
I have had about two dozen extremely close brushes with death to the point where I realize that I can not justify my being here.
I'd have to rebuild the great wall of China to say my beating those odds was justified.
But here I am, average on almost everything save a few.
I could use a whole junkyard of things in life to justify failing myself and being almost every dreadful thing a person could be.
But I do not and am proud of it. I am good at the finite range of things I have chosen to do. Really good.
I can go on and on. But for all my flaws, I like who I am in spite of my failings, and live b y the words "amor fati."
If you like me, I will probably like you. If not, you lost big time. ;-)
