To those on here who are solo and happy, you amaze me. I am not being sarcastic, I to me you are magicians. I have put on the facade for a long time, but it finally came down. I just cant keep living the lie. I am so miserable alone.

I really have nothing to add. Hope escaped long ago, or it was ran out... I really dont know, but it damn sure doesn't reside here anymore.

From personal experience, I can tell you that one can be happy living alone, and not being in a romantic love relationship! A person who has inner peace and is "comfortable within one's own skin" can be happy, with or without romance!

I don't know what my future holds; either way, I am and will continue to be happy!

There are people like you who can be happy without a romantic relationship, and there are those who will never be happy without one. Most people need someone. So I'm happy for you, but just because it works for you, doesn't mean it works for everyone.

I agree with bleedinglovelust - where did you see an attitude? He's a very nice person, and anyone would be lucky to have him *Hug*

Well you can try to be the better person. You could also wish upon a star and see maybe your perfect mate will come along. Until your rude and obtuse personalty goes away I find that difficult anyway.

But good luck you never know.

Um... it's life, without hope. ;)

and the "right one" seems imaginary from my perspective. It seems every person I've been remotely involved with = ditch me when something better comes along. It's the whole who wants "damaged goods"? thing... hence the brave face of the Tommy Waits song :)
