Hi! Ugh! I feel for you! I'm going through my 2nd deployment as well and I feel like it's been a lot harder this time around too. It's impossible not to let the "what if's" creep in but you've got to push that aside as best you can and tell yourself that while he's out there doing his job, you've got to do yours. They depend on us to be their rock while they're away. You've got tell yourself that it's your job to flood him with support in the form of letters, cards, care packages, emails, anything and everything to let him know that you're his teammate in all of this. I've been trying to be better about doing that and I'm finding it's really helping ME to cope. When I feel like I have a purpose and a duty to him it makes me feel a little stronger. Not always. Don't get my wrong, I've gone to work many days with puffy eyes, but it helps me to not feel too sorry for myself for too long. I know you wrote this a couple weeks ago so he's probably left by now. Keep yourself busy and surround yourself with positive people. If you need to chat, I'm here. I'm in the same boat so I understand the roller-coaster and how much IT SUCKS! In the meantime...hang in there!
