I Will Miss Michael Turner
He passed away on June 27, 2008 due to complications with cancer. 37 years old. He is a favorite artist of mine. Despite the critics, I've always loved his work. I just found out. I had no idea and was shocked. I can't believe it. I really wanted to be a comic book artist and work with him someday.

This was one of those infamous crossover comics. Witchblade, Tomb Raider, and Fathom.
Turner was known for doing covers and variant covers. I always liked his variation.
The picture below is actually funny to me. The character, The Darkness has this fatal flaw. He does achieve powers of darkness at the age of 21 but in exchange will die if he produces offspring. So the women surrounding him is just a fantasy. One of my favorite comic books. The original run of it up to number 30 were great.
These copies of signed artwork are nice. I'm thinking of getting a copy of one someday.
