work as an editor of books and websites, and it annoys the **** out of me that people make the most basic errors of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Of course, they become especially annoying when they are in a large font and/or a bright colour, such as group titles on EP. ("Colour" spelt with the "u" in it, as true English writers do.)
I think part of the problem is that people are in such a hurry to write what they wish to express and get it posted online, they don't take the extra minute or two to read what they have written before they hit "Submit".
