'm a singer and I've been writing my own music for a long time. I just started producing my own stuff with Garageband a couple of months ago and I've come really far already! But it's such a drag having to work a day job to scrape by, since unfortunately the world is not aware of my scorching talent, lol. Some days it is so depressing to go to work when I just want to stay home and write songs. I don't have to have vacations or own luxurious things (although it would be nice, I haven't been on a vacation since I've been an adult), I just want to get paid to make and perform music so I can spend my time on what I love most and am best at.
