Would Be Helpful

Then I'd know whether people actually like me or not and I would end up spending hours worrying about it... and I'd know whether I'm wasting my time talking to certain people still.

I would rather not know. People think good & bad about everyone, reflecting off their own values and experiences. It's too easy to get fixated on the bad & ignore all the good. It's hard enough dealing with what people are brave enough to say. There is probably a good reason if they keep it to themselves.<br />

Worrying about what others may or not think about us is such a waste of time. End up wound in knots because someone is in a crabby mood. You know if someone is a waste of time or not if you feel better rather than worse when you spend time with them.
