Well First Off,...

Well first off, not everyone believes in God, but I do and NO i am glad i do not know what His plan for me is .... sometimes I would like a hint or two, but not knowing allows me to embrace each day that comes my way. I love not knowing what is around the corner, assuming I have a corner. The mystery of life is what often keeps me going, through the hard times, if I knew how and when everything or anything would unfold in my life, I might judge whether or not it was worth sticking around for??? So it's best not to know, imo.

And I love the statement; How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans!!

I have to disagree with you on this one. Jeremiah 29:11-14 -> "'I say this because I know what I am planning for you,' says the Lord. "I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! I will let you find me," says the Lord.' (from a New Century Version Bible)

wow, i get what your trying to say and it all makes sense but if you don't know what God's gift or plan for you is how do you know what direction to go in? Remeber we all have free will and sometimes we don't listen to God because we don't want to or because we don't like his answer so how will we ever know if what we do is what he wants us to do?
