He Needs a New Woman.

She needs to be healthy, energetic, strong, capable, uncomplicated and independent with no emotional baggage!......Oh and slim~ that should do it?!

Any takers?! Lol

The man stills says he "could" love me if I changed!...well guess what, I don't want a man like that!

Every woman's "ideal man" should first and foremost accept and love her for who she is, not what he would wish her to be in some kind of parallel universe. I believe the "you're not perfect" kinds of conditions some people place on relationships are just excuses for their own subsequent bad behavior (withholding love, cheating, even abuse) and says a lot more about their insecurities than it does about the person they are undervaluing.

lol....that's a shame anonymud!

DanaeSoibhan, I am way past caring that it should be me.

GND....maybe part of our problem was that I was TOO needy!(health crap etc)
I also believed I accepted him as he was but I think HE couldn't accept it at the time, but I also forgot to be myself and never felt good enough for him.

Hey, that sounds like me!

Oh no, wait... I'm not a woman.

:-)

If such a woman exists, then how are we to be their Knight and shining armor?

It seems, that with all those " virtues" she wouldn't need a man in her life.

I want my woman to love and accept me for who I am as I would love and accept her for who she is. I have to feel needed, to be happy if she doesn't need me than I would feel next to nothing in her life.

I told him he was welcome to go out and seek her! That would take some of the pressure off me.
Seriously though my ideal man would just love me and accept me as I am...not to say I don't want to make some changes for my OWN benefit!

Wouldn't they all love someone like that? So tell me, what criteria did you throw back at him in regard s to the ideal man? ;-)

Ha!
Good luck with that, Mr.Dodobird.

Nah.......I come warts and all and if they don't like it they can jolly well lump it!

He has admitted to wanting someone like this though.

Good luck finding someone like that, Bird.
And I sure hope this is not some ideal that you are trying to live up to.
