Just Do It

Protection isn't just to prevent pregnancy, it also helps to prevent getting an STD. Protection during sex is a matter of protecting yourself and every aspect of your life. I'm well aware of the fact that birth control isn't 100% and that's all the more reason to take precaution. When you look at the pros and cons of birth control (for men and women)...it really should be a no-brainer.

I agree with you 100%
However, in my line of work I encounter a lot of uninsured people with outrageously low incomes. For them, it's a choice between a box of condoms and groceries. Hormonal birth control is out of the question for these poor folks because of the skyrocketing costs as well. A lot of the high school-aged girls nowadays are even unaware that contraception even works - thanks, abstinence-only education!
It's really pathetic...

I'm going to take that as a joke. ;D
