Where Do I Begin?

Seriously what is the point in school? what is the point in all this pressure? all the pressure just makes me not want to do it more. i have an exam tommorow for a class that i absoulutly love, but i really can't study for it because im to worried that i'll find or read somthing that i know nothing about or don't understand. Why do people make such a big deal about year 12? What is all this constant work achieving exept for a high blood pressure?

I agree, the honors kids at my school stay up until 1-2 am and wake up at 6 am on average doing homework. They have maybe 5 tests on one day, and other quizzes and essays dispersed all around. Mix with this with extracurriculars, clubs, sports, community service, and it seems like all of our childhoods were obliterated the second we stepped foot into high school.
If only our generation would one day gain our childhoods back, the childhood that our parents took for granted.

i know! im in 8th grade and even theres alot of pressure, but think of it this way;
if the teachers never pressured u and were all easy, wud u work hard? if they said "yeah u know everything dont worry no pressure" wud that get u motivated to study?
pressure is like adrenaline, it thrives people to do better. the most famous people today have always been under pressure, but without it, where wud that bring us? teenagers now a days r waaayyyyyyy under too much pressure, but being lazy isnt gonna do much either ;) and sometimes wat u love isnt good enough; if u rely love it, u wud learn like crazy and rely care about it.
i totally have the same opion as u about scool, but wat wud we do without it?
i hope this comment helped :D
