Very true; Theologians and scholars spend lifetimes debating on where the comma should be placed.

Does this mean you started the thread? No personal slight intended,icygreen-I just thought it ironic that a thread on ignorance should open with a mistake! A little slip can make a big difference in meaning-some historians argue they dropped the Hiroshima bomb because a single word was misinterpreted. In speech you can elaborate if I don't quite get it. When you write it,it has to stand alone.

Sorry to see you're feeling exhausted. Hope you are your usual self again soon.

Was my grammar okay there? Is there something you would like to correct?

that kind of ignorance I can excuse, because it's not hurting anyone. It's not holding us back; it's not impeding progress.
