The Grass Is Greener

People always tell me
that I need to let things be
and not try to make them better
because in the end that doesn't matter.
The grass is always greener
where people don't get meaner.
I know I tend to make matters worse
it seems like a terrible curse.
I wish I could change
so many things in my life
that I would rearrange.
If only I could,
I really would
make my world greener
a place peaceful
where no one gets meaner.
