This day is a special day to me: Celebrating 9 months of sobriety!
I remember in the beginning being filled with thoughts like, "There's no point, you can't do it - You're an addict. Once an addict, always an addict."
In reality, I have always had the option to not be an addict. The key is strength and motivation.
Being sober has taught me so much about myself, life, and forgiveness.
I can never take back what has been done or said, but I can wake up in the morning with a positive attitude and try to better each day!
It's a choice - You are not ever anything permanent, there's always room for change.
Love and respect yourself, and wake up believing that today will be a good day.

Peace, Love, and Motivation to my fellow warriors! You can do it!
