They Say So, But...

Sometimes I wonder if certain people aren't lying about how they feel about me. For example, I have a friend (not someone on EP, don't be paranoid) whom I've been out of touch with for a while. The last time I talked to her, she seemed happy to hear from me... a little too happy. Didn't really talk to me, just chirped out some plain comments and laughed a lot. While she was doing this, I couldn't help but think she was just pretending, because she didn't want to upset me by saying she wasn't happy with me...
