I don't know what to do with my life.... I've graduated from high school, I don't go to college, I don't have a job, I don't have a car (I'm stuck at home 24:7).... I've applied everywhere... Yet no one calls... It really bums me out, how I've sent so many applications to so many places and no one calls me.... I do want to go to college, but I don't know what I want to study and I don't just want to go there and waste money... I'm also afraid to "grow up", afraid to become an adult, live off on my own and start a new life... I know it sounds ridiculous to say, but maybe someone out there feels the same? Or maybe a person with experience in life can give me advice? Please help.

Change your thoughts. Start thinking about how all of these things are going to work out. As you change your thoughts, your reality soon follows.

You're young and it's okay to not be sure of where you're going. Don't let not knowing what you want to study keep you from it. Sometimes it takes starting something you're not interested in to show you what you are interested in.

The best way to look at a career is that even if its not your ideal career it at least affords you to be and do what you enjoy in your spare time. If you're lucky enough to enjoy both, then that's just great.

The most important thing I've learnt is do whatever you want and don't let other people's judgement hinder you. Being happy in life is the greatest success.

Not ridiculous at all. Most people are scared of growing old and of what the future holds for them. The best is to try to prepare for it the best you can. Competition on the job market is tough and employers are looking for people with skills that make them stand out from the crowd (can be interpersonal skills or skills you learn from another job). Volunteering while you are looking for a job can help you acquire some of these additional skills employers are looking for. That will also give you an opportunity to get out there and meet people who could potentially offer you a paid job ☺️ I hope this help?

Michelle.... This was. PERFECT. Thank you so very much! Great advice!

No problem ☺️ I wish you much success in whatever you choose to do.

I left my country after college because I couldn't find a job in my country though I was a volunteer in my 3 years of faculty and i participated to many projects...

Did you have any luck now?

Yeah.. I'm working in Germany. I don't really have time for anything... Because I'm working a lot.. but is way more better then before.

Glad everything worked out for you man

Thanks dude! But I'm a girl :)) anyway you could start looking for something part time (you can find this more easily) ... And then you can figure out what you want ... Study or just working... Good luck!

I'm so sorry! I just assumed you were a male! My apologies lol.. And good luck to you to!
