Cut, Clarity, Colour, Carat & Certificate

How does the outside world measure my worth and what does it matter to me? It used to mean a lot but as I get older, I hope to just let it happen and be lucky enough to live a long and prosperous life. I suppose I'm like a diamond, earth is my mother. I'm rough but each day the experiences I have shape, illuminate, colour and add value to my life. Others I meet are only getting a snapshot of me at a given moment so they see me in a moment not a continuum. Some days I lack lustre, others I'm brilliant. Most people are beautiful but flawed, like diamonds. And so I am even though I strive for perfection. I know it's not a new thought but I definitely concur with it!

I too concur! The greatest pressure produces the most beautiful diamonds and so often, life hands us "pressure". Hopefully we can always keep the end diamond in sight!
